Hmmm.... I can't decide if this is cool (for my coworker's 3 year old grandaughter) or if it looks like one of those things where they give an elephant a paint brush and it slaps away at some paper....

Try again? Suggestions?

I'm impressed! There are ways of painting with dye to get more accurate pictures, but I like the style that this has. It looks like you used traditional methods of tieing, like the accordion fold and the circles. It's something I haven't seen done before. I've seen the symbols made with tie dye, like peace symbols, mushrooms, guitars, etc, but I have never seen a landscape.

That little girl's dress is great. I love landscapes. The Kind Dyes used to sell a lot of extremely detailed and beautiful tie-dyed landscapes. The only picture I can find now from their site is this one:
