Just thought I would post a picture of a freeform quilt I just finished, using fabrics I had tie-dyed and resist dyed using objects and clamps.  Oh, and there is some pole-wrap shibori fabric too.

My main goal was to use some of my hand dyed fabrics, but I also wanted to create a piece that was not square or rectangle in shape.
So for those of you who are wondering if you can use tie-dye methods for anything besides t-shirts, the answer is 'yes'!

Oh, Judy... this is so much fun!

I'm certainly with you there; tie-dye isn't just for t-shirts!

great idea! I particulary like cyan-greenish part. I had such idea that it would be fun to do parts of the same module size but with many tie-dye designs, so the unifying element would be same pattenr frequency/size. But I'm not quilting kind, someone else should put it together.  rolleyes

Thanks, Jo.  At its widest point, it is 22"; at its longest point, it is 25".
