Tie-dye quilt

Just thought I would post a picture of a freeform quilt I just finished, using fabrics I had tie-dyed and resist dyed using objects and clamps.  Oh, and there is some pole-wrap shibori fabric too.


My main goal was to use some of my hand dyed fabrics, but I also wanted to create a piece that was not square or rectangle in shape.
So for those of you who are wondering if you can use tie-dye methods for anything besides t-shirts, the answer is 'yes'!

great idea! I particulary like cyan-greenish part. I had such idea that it would be fun to do parts of the same module size but with many tie-dye designs, so the unifying element would be same pattenr frequency/size. But I'm not quilting kind, someone else should put it together.

Nice selection of colors and interesting shape....I like it Judy......How big is it?

Thanks, Jo.  At its widest point, it is 22"; at its longest point, it is 25".
