Hello, thought I should introduce myself.  I'm the son of ecilA.  I've been dyeing for a while, but never got around to posting on here.

Very nice work. Looks like you've developed your own style.

Welcome!  I agree, you have your own style, but I also notice a little influence from your mom... you can take that as a compliment, because I really admire her work.  I can't wait to see more of your work posted here!

Great to have tie-dye family! Do you have each own dye powders or you just share what you have?
How long do you do tie-dye?

(been trying to get him to post for a while now)

TY Judy Smiley

And Jaja, the supplies are mine but he's usually welcome to use them.  I say usually because there was that black pair of paints he wanted to re-dye...*eeep*

I can imagine Alice - to share dyes together is somewhat like to have common food in frigde.

Very, very nice yin-yang.

I'm pleased to see that it's going in the right direction, (!), and your black looks very black, ( nothing as satisying as a great black, as I've said here before ), and that background is really great.

I am now fully committed to doing a shirt in that same yellow/black motif-- VERY powerful, very cool, in my book.

I have no intention of trying to do a similar yin-yang-- just thinking about how you tied and/or dyed that gives me a headache, and I know from experience I don't have that kind of patience... Ha!!

But I think I can do that yellow/black thing; I hope it comes out as powerful as yours.  That's what it's all about, imho-- broadening the horizons-- I haven't seen a shirt "like" that before.

Which "yellow" did you use?

Folding that gave ME a headache!  I'm really pleased with the way that it came out and it seems like other people like it too so grin

As I remember I used lemon yellow.
