Hey there, everyone!  I'm so happy to have found this forum.  I'm a stay-at-home mom, trying to earn a little extra money by selling dyed tshirts and dyed cloth diapers.  I'm having a lot of fun learning the art.  I'm VERY new to the process; just started about 2 months ago.  I've made a lot of improvements, but have a looooong way to go and about 1,437 questions tumbling around in my brain!  I can already tell by reading around in here that I've found the perfect place to learn!  Looking forward to getting to know all of you...  grin

Here's a shirt n' diaper from my very first dyeing session:

Here's a few recent diapers:

Hi and welcome! I'm doing the SAHM thing as well. Smiley

Staill haven't figured out how to get a nice pattern on the thick parts of the diaper cloths, but haven't given up yet either.  cheesy

Hi Deb!  Always fun to find another SAHM!  I've had trouble with swirlies on the prefold diapers too.  This is the closest I've gotten so far:

You're ahead of me! I can do stripes OK but DANG, that absorbent part in the middle just SUCKS up the dye!!! Also really messes with my rubber bands.

I did manage a heart, but it only came out nice on one side. I had to salvage that with fabric paint to make the outline look like "I meant to do that," but I may paint the rest with a paintbrush to make it look more evenly saturated with the dye - see my post about that on your other thread.
