Just reading the thread linked above and though: wouldn't it be cool if the wiki could include (and I have no idea if wiki can even handle this) a little fold result tool, heck it would be fun just for playing with.  Kinda like the snowflake maker, you know?  Only you'd apply color instead of cutting away paper Smiley

Hi, Alice!  That sounds like the little 'demo's you can do with some paint companies on-line.  You choose the colors, and the program plugs them in so you can get a feel for how they would look on your walls.  One thing that might help is if we had a couple of samples of mandalas showing how to typically apply the dyes, then pix of the results.  I am very new to dyeing mandalas, and I will admit it's kind of hard to envision what the end result will look like as I am applying the dye.
