I just fixed an issue on the Spiral fold tutorial. To keep some sort of consistency I recommend all that edit the wiki and include images follow suit:

  • If more than one image is to be used to illustrate a point, please do not place more than three images in a row and make the width 150 pixels or less.
  • When placing images in your edits please place those images in a table:

the code for this is:
Code:
||r1c1|r1c2|r1c3||r2c1|r2c2|r2c3||

A double pipe (||) is used for the outer edge of the table and the single pipe (|) is used for the table cells. r1c1 is row 1 column 1 and the format continues as outlined in the code.

If anyone notices inconsistencies you can PM me a link and I will check browser compatability issues as I can.

Because this may seem complicated, maybe you could step in and add the table tags to tut's that need them Cheesy

er, Steve, what's your feeling on this?  It did fix my left right scroll problem (I know I know, like John told you, I'm somewhat of a luddite).

I'd maintain that the issue lies with lies with that browser not the webpage wink .

These are generally good ideas, but I am reluctant to make a bunch of rules that people might find daunting. This is new to a lot of people--remember our constituancy! Most people contributing know little about web issues and are making a plunge in doing this. Nonetheless--fair guidelines!

My message is that all should post to the best of their abiltiy, but not to worry about formatting issues. Somebody can always come along and straighten things out if they find an issue. Content is the priority.

Ultimately, I'd like to work on consistency, not only in format, but in wording, neutrality of diction, etc.

Thanks for working on the nitty gritty of some of the formatting!
